Kodaikanal One Day Trip

About this trip

An overnight run from Malabar up into the Palani hills and back. You board close to home after dinner, sleep through the ghat roads, and wake up to Kodaikanal — the lake, the pine forest and more cloud than you expected — with a full day to spend there before the coach turns around. One fare covers the whole thing.

Itinerary

1. 22 Aug · Night

   Boarding along the route

   Kuttiyadi → Nadapuram → Vadakara → Koyilandy → Kozhikode → Ramanattukara

2. Overnight

   Drive to Kodaikanal

   Sleep on board as we cross into Tamil Nadu and start the climb.

3. 23 Aug

   A full day in Kodaikanal

   The lake, the viewpoints and the pine forests.

4. 23 Aug · Night

   Return journey

   Drop-offs in reverse order along the same route.
